The runner up: Sei-chan/Fai (Don't judge me)
The anti-ship: Cloney/Fai (You know, Acid Tokyo clone. From when it still made sense.)
My unpopular fannish opinion on said character: He was never in love with Ashura-ou. He's not a cutter--he punishes himself psychologically, not physically.
One person he/she never fell in love with, and why: Subaru. They're both too broken in similar ways--he and Kurogane are broken in such a way as to compliment each other.

The anti-ship: Kyouya/Honey
My unpopular fannish opinion on said character: He can be caught off guard. It's difficult, but it can happen. (Falling in love with Haruhi is an example.)
One person he/she never fell in love with, and why: Mori, because it would create unnecessary drama, and hinder the chances of an alliance with Honey's family.

Kyouya/Twins would be fun, though I could easily see him getting exasperated with Hikaru's selfishness. I could really see Kyouya/Kaoru working for a while, but something about that screams mentor/student relationship to me.

One person he/she never fell in love with, and why: Kallen. Although they have more in common than anyone else, there's just to much history there.

Seishirou/Subaru is one of those things that I can't quite put into words, but is just, guh, perfect. I've seen people use the term id-fic--I'd say it's my id-ship. The dynamic is different in TRC--I think it's less likely to end in true tragedy--but, yeah, I still ship it.
