AHAHAHAHAHA. There we go with the idea of a bank robbery - which, I should say again, is fucking GENIUS. But of course a bank robbery is a GOOD setup for an extraction....Just need to trigger the victim/mark before Pasiv and boom, bring out the big guns.

I do like the dynamic between Chris and Ariadne here, and it's as you described it perfectly; you can see the awkwardness and the real affection he's slowly growing for her. I love the back-sniping at Eames, too.

Am very interested in this world's progress as you well know. Can't wait for next installment. and, yes, please to Ariadne being smart and being kickass and generally being coolest architect in the world.

It's a variation on what Arthur did in The Cobol Job, Chris just simplifies things by ensuring the mark is in the fortified bank vault with them. (:

Even the relationship with Eames was, in his head, a sort of "well, he wants to sleep with me, right?" sort of a setup. He's really unused to honest human affection and there's only so much his therapist can tell him. Exposure to Ariadne, as an unspoiled, honestly SANE human being, is giving him an example to work off of. ( ... )

YES, I love this Ariadne (and everyone else of course). I love how there are serious consequences for everything, how you've thought everything through. :)

If there weren't consequences then there really wouldn't be a point in following them, would there? It'd be preordained.

Maybe I'm just far grittier than the rest of the fandom though.
