...i am just curious about one thing though, why does Eames think he needs to give Arthur a safeword? or is that supposed to be, dunno, ironic or something? seems like pretty straightforward sex, no? very hot straightforward sex, but Arthur already agreed to it... am i being more than usually dense? i mean, i just don't see the d/s here, no more than they've already done in this timeline?

(this is not a criticism! i may have, uh, read this story three times now. did i mention it's hot like burning?)

Eames is being considerate because Arthur's hands have been um, pinned to his sides and he can't exactly protest in that situation. There's definitely an element of D/S there, anyway, but it's mostly psychological, as you can tell.

Arthur's, um, a bit of a control freak in this timeline, as is very obvious already.

And if you think this is hot like burning, then it means I have to write more.
