Modern
The peaceful landscape is filled with lush green pastures, rolling hills and trees dotting the horizon as if placed there by the stroke of a master's paintbrush. Still, one thing is clear: this isn't what you signed up for. The area is beautiful but deserted, and what you've been promised is nowhere in sight. As you turn back to the helicopter that brought you here you feel a rush of air and see it already climbing quickly into the sky. No amount of yelling and handwaving will bring it back. As the sky grows dark you can make out a castle in the distance. Welcome to your new home.
The helicopter which brings you into the game deposits you in a random location some distance from the castle. The castle sits in the center of the grounds, majestically rising from the moat surrounding it. Although the white and weathered stone walls make a distinct impact on the scenery, it seems to sit naturally as if it has always been there or always belonged.
The modern road way that leads to the castle is stripped of any cars or signs of life. The entire countryside is eerily silent. As you make your way to the castle, you notice the same inside. Except for your fellow travelers to this strange location, the grounds are vacant.
The rooms of the castle are decorated as you would expect a castle - grand four-post beds, hanging tapestries, luxurious draperies and linens. And with the sheer number of rooms, you're sure to find a place to call your own. The kitchen is filled with ingredients from the mundane to the exotic, and never seems to go empty. Click

If you continue to explore the grounds you'll find many other uninhabited buildings - from the vacant cottages, to the untended shops. If you're the solitary type you may be lucky enough to find a more secluded place to rest your head. Though the greenhouse seems to be thriving despite having no longer having a keeper. Filled with alluring flowers and plants from around the world. The strange and unfamiliar plants might even come in handy if you know your way around the botanical world.
Keep exploring and you'll may discover two large buildings on opposite sides of the grounds.
One is tall and very modern. The walls are made of glass and inside are housed an assortment of cars and other transportation. There's dozens of different vehicles from a variety of decades. The cars are all maintained and in fine functioning order. Starting them is no problem because the key to each car was left carelessly in the ignition. Every car has a full tank of fuel, but you noticed that just outside there appears to be a fuel pump station as well.
As you explore the two-story garage more you notice that the building not only houses cars, but other types of transportation as well. You easily spot a vintage fire truck, as well as what appears to be an old army tank. There's no short supply of bicycles as well, and whoever has put this collection together seems to have tapped the root of just about everything. Surely no one would mind if you took one out for a spin?
On the other side of the property, is an old building made of a stone. The building wraps around a large empty centre. The gates are unlocked and once you get inside you're greeted by several horses poking their heads out of their stall doors. The facilities themselves are worthy of a king, and you're pretty sure the stall floors are made of marble. There's an expansive tackroom with just about everything you could think of, as well as washracks, hay rooms, changing areas, lounges, arenas, and riding trails.
And if you're in the mood to relax, visit the playground to the southeast of the green house, or take one of the small row boats from the boat deck (located west of the castle) out for a spin on the moat. Or you can always visit one of the many gardens or lawns located on the grounds - always being careful not to wander too far from your new home. But don't let the peaceful surroundings fool you. Although the setting is tranquil, the grounds hold its share of secrets. To the east of the castle lies the rose hedge maze and the mysterious underground grotto. And you never know what might be hiding in the trees outlining the area...
