I have an Oshawott named Sambuca. I've come up with this goofy naming convention where all of my pokemon are named by various food groupings: fire types are Indian food, dark types are sushi, water types are cocktails.

I am looking forward to discovering the water pokemon that I will get to name things like Salty Dog or Slippery Nipple.

Pokemon are totally better when you name them. XD I usually try to free associate until I think of something, but sometimes inspiration hits. I named my Purrloin after one of Maly's soap scents- SexPanther... and it cracks me up every single time.

SexPanther wants to learn Torment!

When I was playing Pearl I had a Magikarp named Lunch. He was useless but I used him as my starter because I loved starting pokemon battles with "Go! Lunch!"
