I saw the episode this morning and it broke my brain. *ouch* I've been pretty much been avoiding lj all day so that I could write up my rather meta-heavy thoughts without having them be influenced by everyone else's thoughts. Now I'm off to read through the posts on my flist!

I've been thinking about characters and shipping preferences. So I decided to write up a little meta on how I watch shows and talk a bit about multishipping and threesomes.

While I was watching Journey's End and putting together my screencap review, I noticed two things I found interesting.

First, Ten was not at all upset with new!Ten for creating the weapon that would turn the reality bomb on the Daleks in the "biggest backfire in history." He's only upset when it's destroyed, since they now have no way of stopping ( Read more... )

I've been thinking about the best way to differentiate the two Tens. I want a scheme that doesn't privilege one over the other (no real!Ten or clone!Ten) and doesn't depend on what they're wearing. So from now on I'm going to use Ten and new!Ten. They are both the Doctor, just one of them is new.
