Once fandom on tumblr is annoying me again. They have been pestering the writers about over the top theories they have based on nothing more than behind the scenes pictures. *sigh* I truly do not mind spoilers AT ALL. In fact I enjoy them. I stay away and then I get sucked in again. There is just SO MUCH discussion going on that I have trouble resisting. And in fandom culture if you stay away from spoilers you have to stay away from the majority of what is going on.

I do think they will explore the Emma and Regina relationship more! They remain connected through Henry and once Emma is back in town for awhile I think they would have trouble not interacting. And I also don't think that the show is trying to devalue Regina as Henry's mother (fandom can be another story) but rather is going for a more complicated situation.

I can't wait for tomorrow's ep, either! Of course, I won't see it tomorrow, but I can't wait to watch!

You're the second person to have a gripe about Tumblr fandom today. I like it here! I only have squee for tomorrow's ep and The Miller's Daughter. Tumblr is good for gifs. Not even icons, though. You make great icons! I like it here. We have long discussions after eps and I don't know how or if that would work on Tumblr ( ... )

Yay for squee! And you know I love discussion! Which is why I visit tumblr since I want MORE. I don't even like gifs - I'm always hitting the esc key to shut them all off so I can scroll in peaceful stillness ( ... )

Is there real discussion about OUAT eps on Tumblr? I'd be curious to see. I have no idea how you have a back and forth on there. I want more too but I haven't found MORE. I just have back and forth in peoples' journals.

I know Tumblr is spoiler heavy so it's not the place for me. I like that tension watching an ep and not knowing. I don't want to relax! It's like a roller coaster. Scary in small doses is fun!

What aspects of the show have changed, other than people getting their memories back? The major departure I noticed was Dr. Whale's story which is so not a fairy tale.

There is but it's HARD to find and there are spoilers everywhere you look and it's likely to make you grumpy about the show. I mentioned amuseoffyre before and I think she is a good starting point. She is spoiler free, loves the show in general (though she does have some thoughtful criticisms), and writes interesting meta about the costuming, characters, and scenes.

Lots of people don't like spoilers! I'm the sort who reads the ends of mystery books first. I'm not particularly interested in being surprised; I like the journey even without the surprises.

I dive right into the spoilers so as far as that goes tumblr is fine for me. It's fighting about them that bothers me! And so far I've mostly lurked on tumblr since I'm really not interested in arguing or getting social justice types on my case.
