I've never really liked cake (or pie, actually), but my mom makes a KILLER pecan pie. As for the apple, we'll usually grab a Mrs. Smith's if we have a craving for one, but it's not a staple here.

My brother isn't much for desserts in general but he does enjoy a bit of apple pie sometimes. And that is Jay's favorite EVER so I make many of them. I do love some pecan pie myself!

I think the main consideration is that homemade >>>>>> storebought!

Heh. To be honest as I was thinking about pies I never once considered storebought. It is homemade or nothing for me!

Pie is a specialty of mine so I have it down. (Which is why I'm in charge of desserts at Thanksgiving. *g*)

Today is even better than Thanksgiving because today is PIE FOR BREAKFAST day! :D

I had to go with cake in the poll, though, because I am a frosting whore.

Yes it is! I had pecan pie myself! \o/

I do love some good frosting I admit but I find it hard to resist a seasonal fruit pie. Yum.
