Hey, I forgot that Caprica started last night! Of course, I didn't set up a season pass but I was planning on checking it out. I think that I'm finally over my issues with BSG's ending (I may even start up a rewatch!) and could enjoy a prequel. And it has James Marsters being pretty in it, so it does have that going for it as well. *g ( Read more... )

Ah! I forgot about it too! Hmmmm. Would I have picked David or James if I'd remembered? (Ended up watching Hamlet with a friend last night myself....)

*quick look* If it's not on TV again, there is always the torrent that's up on eztv... (if you torrent at all) :D

Luckily each episode is playing a about 20 times so I have it set to record Monday evening! We'll see if I like this since it's so separate from the parent show.

Yay for mass showings!

I havent watched it yet either, but I'm hoping it isn't unlikeable (though I might just sit through it to see James and not paying attention to the whole storyline -- I've been known to do that before... LOL) I was highly disappointed in the ending to BSG, so I'm really hoping for this!

They do make it convenient. That's one thing I like about watching non-network shows. Even if I come into a show late, I can still catch up easily.

I think a lot of people were very upset with the ending of BSG. Especially the bigger fans of the show. It was such a let down. However, this is starting fresh to an extent, so we'll see. And, yes, I've watched shows just for James in the past as well. :D

I think James Marsters isn't on for a couple weeks. I got it from Netflix a couple months ago, so I've had a while to digest. I'll be interested to hear what you think of it.

I will survive! Though I am looking forward to him. :D It's odd that it came DVD first. I would think that syfy would have wanted first crack at it.

I'm enough in Marsters fandom that I knew it but enough out of BSG fandom that I really don't know much else about the show. He is pretty there though!

Oh... I had no idea he's in it! Makes me look forward to it a bit more. Still a rewatch of BSG is still in the stars... that end really killed it for me...

Jay feels the same way about the ending. He's still not ready. I don't know if I'm ready to acknowledge the end either but I think I'm ready to appreciate the middle again.

Caprica is a prequel to Battlestar Galactica. Beyond that, I don't really know what the storyline is.
