Doctor Who - Destiny of the Daleks

Last night we watched Destiny of the Daleks. This disc came with a 'CGI button' where you could turn on a few extra special effects that they added to some scenes. We tried it. Yeah, no. As corny as the original effects were, adding some flashing lights on top of them was not an improvement.

Omfgs, I saw this Sunday night! It's absolutely stunningly hilarious, and it makes me wonder if it was intended as such or just worked out that way.

Douglas Adams wrote it (even if he wasn't credited with the writing), so I'd say intentional! Jay and I did spend much of the serial saying 'What? You're kidding.' Adams' humor doesn't usually make me laugh out loud though. One thing I did enjoy was playing 'spot the prop.' *g* I don't know if you listened to the commentaries but there was this one prop that looked like an old bit of metal which they only had one of and they had to keep moving it into each scene.
