A Little of This; A Little of That

I didn't manage to post yesterday before the LJ outage! *hmph* I had a post open but I lost the connection just as I started. I don't know if it stayed down since I took the outage as a sign I should go to bed. At least I got the tennant_report out before the maintenance. Not that it's terrible to post it today, but it would have been annoying to have it all ( Read more... )

it's not the getting together, it's the keeping apart that annoys viewers

I give the writers credit for allowing them to actually get together and dealing with the issues around that (I won't say how or when so as not to excessively spoil).

That's good to know. I'm mostly hearing about the show from Penny/Sheldon shippers, so their viewpoint is going to be a little different.

Yay for Twitter~!

As for TBBT, I'd say S2 >>>> S1, because S1 was affected by the writer's strike as so many shows were. Admittedly, after I saw S1, I did ship Penny/Leonard (as that is what the show wants you to ship), but I changed my tune down the line, and don't think I'd ever go back. Credit to the BBT writers, they don't pander around the L/P thing. It is never a grating "will they/won't they" ship. Sure, stuff goes down, but S2 delivers better ensemble plots, and uses Sheldon more to bring the funny.

I'll let you know what I think about s2 once I watch it! First I have FotC to watch. Yay! And then some Doctor Who and BBT.

Ah, good. No pandering and more ensemble. It sounds like the writers up their game in s2 (as you've mentioned before). At this point I don't myself getting too caught up in the ships either way. I need an OTC and they don't come along very often. Maybe I'll end up a Penny/Sheldon/Leonard shipper. *g* I do like OT3s after all.
