Chloe made it to the Daily Planet from the Watchtower in record time. To say she was nervous about talking to herself was a huge understatement. If she was honest, she was a little intimidated by this version of herself; she had been through a lot, losing the love of her life, raising three children then having Michael kind of vanish

She was a little nervous, as well. From everything Michael had told her, this world was incredibly different from the one that she was from. But mostly she was curious. She wanted to get to know the people her son had been staying with, wanted to see what kind of life this world's version of her lived.

Still. The idea of meeting herself was...strange. And she'd seen strange. She'd dealt with strange. From demons and ghosts to aliens and near-apolcaypses.

She heard the other her say their name and turned around, offering her a smile. "Hi."

Chloe pursed her lips a little when the other her turned to face her then smiled slowly, this was beyond weird where she came from too, "hi," she said, then was quiet for just a second, "we're going this way."

She started to respond when something dawned on her and her eyes widened. "You're pregnant."

[chloeas]

"Oh," Chloe blinked and looked down at her stomach then nodded, "I guess I still wasn't last time you and Mike spoke." She said awkwardly then nodded, taking a deep breath, "I am."

"Oh," her face fell, her stomach turning a little and she wondered if it was weird to hug the other her for a second, "I'm sorry, I didn't know that was how things had happened."

"He came back," she said, shaking her head. "But...the memories of what happened down there...tortured him." Her voice was soft. "He was never the same."

"Was that before or after Michael was born?" She asked quietly, walking up the stairs to the front door of the Watchtower and unlocking the door then pressing her finger against the fingerprint pad before pushing the door open.

"Before. Long before," she assured her younger self, watching with curious eyes. "Wow. Top notch security."

Chloe smiled softly at him and walked up to him, she was still freaked out too, but now that he seemed more freaked out than she was, she felt the need to take care of him.

She reached out for his hand and squeezed it gently, "is Mike still out with Mia?" She asked him quietly.

"Yeah, I think they're just on a walk." He kissed her cheek softly, reaching out and placing a hand against her stomach. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm okay," she assured him, watching him closely for a moment before turning to the older her, "I'm sure they won't be long, Mia has a dog, they probably went out with him, do you need anything?" She offered.

"No, I'm good." She smiled, glancing around the apartment curiously.
