It was the third big meeting they had in a week, and she knew the others were probably worried, but she couldn't have told them over the phone or via internet. Mia was right, they had to be careful about who found out about this and as much as she hated to worry them unnecessarily, it was for the best

Oliver drew in a breath and let it out slowly, glancing up at her from where he sat on the sofa beside Mia. He wasn't really sure what to expect from the rest of the team. He nodded a little. "Right. All right."

"Let's get this over with," Mia said around a yawn. She hadn't been able to really sleep last night, not with the niggling fear that falling asleep would lead to no Oliver when she woke up. Hopefully that fear would go away sometime soon, because the lack of sleep was making her snappish and cranky.

She tried for a soft smile between the two of them, she hadn't really slept either, she was incredibly tired now that she had managed to relax some, which was making her feel out of it, but maybe after everyone left, she could lay down on Ollie on the couch for a while and rest. That sounded like the perfect plan.

Chloe rubbed her face and looked at the door when she heard the elevator and voices coming from it.

AC's hand was resting lightly on the small of Dinah's back as the elevator doors slid open. "We'll find him," he said quietly, not just to her, but to Victor and Bart, as well. "It's just going to take more time. Plus it's Lex. It's not like he can hide forever." He started to say something else when he glanced over at Chloe, then past him to Mia and...Oliver.

He froze in place, eyes wide.

"But..." he opened and closed his mouth a couple of times then blinked, shaking his head and deciding he really couldn't think of anything to say.

Before anyone had a chance to say anything else, Lois strode into the room, fiddling with her phone. "Sorry I'm late. I got caught up in traffic, and I..." She looked up and froze in her tracks, staring even as the phone slid out of her hand and shattered on the floor.

"Lo," Chloe frowned a little at the crashing phone and raised her eyebrows, pursing her lips together and taking a deep breath. Everyone was there now.

"Ollie showed up in his room last night," she explained, looking at the others then glancing at Oliver and Mia, "we have no idea who brought him back or who healed him," she explained calmly, "I know this is a lot to take in, but Mia and I spent the night talking to him and we're sure he's the real Oliver."

He could hear people moving behind him, but Clark's attention remained soley on Oliver. It was easier to concentrate on him, performing a slow x-ray scan while ignoring everyone else.

Whoever he was, there was no hint of genetic manipulation that he could see, all the organs were in the right place and he certainly seemed human. But he'd seen the dead body with his own eyes, had taken it down from the ceiling and delivered the corpse personally to Emil.

When he was finished, Clark took a deep breath and stepped back, no longer in emergency mode. Instead he simply turned around and walked out of the headquarters without saying another word.

AC raised his eyebrows. "And the night just keeps on getting weirder."

"Doctor Fate," Chloe raised her eyebrows, eyes a little wide, "was it you? Did you heal him?

Oliver looked at the man wearing the mask too, a hint of familiarity tugging at him, though he couldn't place why.

Mia had jumped nearly a foot when the stranger came in, and she wasn't any less nervous now, even if he did claim to be with the Justice Society. Still, she bit back her knee-jerk, sarcastic 'what kind of lame name is Doctor Fate anyway?' quip and just settled for a suspicious glare.

"It isn't their time either," he said simply, "I suggest all of you rest now. I can't answer any of your questions. You will have your answers when the time is right."

Oliver stared at him for a moment, and before he could think of something to say, bright light illuminated the room once more and the other man was gone. He blinked a couple of times. "Okay..."

"...What the hell is that supposed to mean?" He said bluntly, eyes wide as he looked between the others.

"No idea. But..." He looked at Ollie again and smiled, crossing the room to him. "It's good to have you back." He reached out and shook Oliver's hand.
