After Oliver left, Chloe heard him stepping on the rooftop and knew he was going on patrol. Which meant she knew he was going to be gone for a couple of hours at least. She went downstairs and checked on Mia, who, as far as she could tell, was asleep, then went back to Oliver's room, sat down on his bed and waited for him

"I have a tendency not to see things when they are right in front of face," she admitted, lifting a hand to touch his face, her own softening at his words.

"I didn't want to push you," he told her softly, searching her eyes.

With a deep breath, she nodded a little, "I appreciate it, but you don't have to worry about it."
