I can't remember the last time I fell in love with a pairing so quickly *-* and the character of Brendan (and emmett <33) too.. i'm absolutely hooked. anyway, I don't want to explain this mix too much because i think it's better for people to make their own interpretations, but i'll just say that i've tried to illustrate an obsession that becomes love whilst drawing a thin line towards hate. it's all very dark (or at least i hoped it came across that way.)
I included the bonus song because without it, this mix has an unhappy ending. the bonus song makes it a bit more optimistic. I know there's a lot of debate as to whether brendan actually loves ste or not, for me - especially judging by recent episodes - there's no doubt that he does, but I wanted to leave this mix as open-ended and unspecific as possible to cater to whichever opinion. so... choose your own ending I guess? lol
(i'm not very happy with how a few of these images turned out - hq caps are hard to come by & hollyoaks is shot in such a varied colour scheme that it was a nightmare trying to fit images together D: so I might have another go at another picspam later.)
