I feel strangely unsettled that Steve Jobs is gone. Like, my heart sank a little when I heard it.

I was just saying to someone, it's a little weird to think that Apple will never quite be the same again.

Same here. I think it's because I have been an apple fangirl for such a long time that I sort of put Steve Jobs up on this godly pedestal. He was always there doing amazing things and popping up to make announcements about some new fun gadget that would make my life so much better. And now he's ...not. I definitely feel a bit empty, like there's a void where he was.

(ha, and I realize that sounds ridic because I never knew him but it still gives me pause)

Yeah, I feel a bit silly about being sad about it...but he really is such an icon, a symbol, however you want to say it... He'll definitely be missed.
