Yeah, I could see that first paragraph expanding into something different and longer. Definitely liked the idea of Wes being put at ease by not having to second guess his own reactions/actions because he was too busy watching and thinking and planning.

Yeah, that's what I meant. :) I realized after I posted that I wasn't bring clear. :P Yeah, I know what you mean. I think there are variations, at one extreme or another where Angel kind of works his way around Wes's insecurities, but never really helps. Well, that's not quite right, but there's a nuance there I guess. Your Angel seems to deal with some of Wes's insecurities pretty well...?

Have you read versaphile's Wine Tasting, or whatever it's called? I think that deals with a similar feeling. :)
