oh... wow.

Very very powerful writing, and a great way to have a bit of Angel and Angelus. I haven't read that many fics where you see the effects on Angel of Wesley dreaming of Angelus, and you did that very very well. On the one hand, yes, this was gorgeous PWP as hot as anything. But at the same time, damn, my heart ached for Angel as he watched Wes slip away like that. It was lovely at the end to see Wes finally tell Angel what was needed, that he only wanted Angel. *sighs*

Poor Angel, having to witness Wesley's growing obsession with Angelus, beimh disgusted by it while at the same time being tortured by it because Angelus is still a part of him and *wants* what Wesley wants, no... wants more than Wesley wants, would take more than Wesley can even imagine giving.

And I so love how you point out so beautifully that Angel could be Angelus if he chose to but that "he can’t be me, because I’m not even there."

That is the perfect way to describe it. It's a little horrifying to imagine some of things that must skitter through his brain sometimes.

Yeah, there's always a little nagging voice when I read Angelus fic that says: They're the same person. Which is why it kills Angel to feel what he's done. To know that he could do it again if he gave in to it.
