LOL I don't really remember if it has happened to me while I was talking to someone. I think the -most of the time annoying- voice announcing the stations always saves my butt. Or the person I'm talking with telling me it's my stop because THEY heard the voice thing xD. So what did u do :/? Had to walk in ese calor infernal :P?

YAY spanglish xD

Yep, back to the house walking xD nothing much more to do.

And well, here there ain't any train, so there's only bus; and they surely wouldn't even bother to announce the next stop. In fact you should call your own stop or the driver will keep driving.

LOL. This has happened to me at least twice. Once I was reading one of the Millennium books. Once I was reading Emma. I'm sure it's happened more than that. ESPECIALLY ON THE B/D & 3 TRAINS. Stupid overhead announcements that are BASICALLY INAUDIBLE. Fail, MTA, FAIL.

So yes. *HIGH FIVE* We are awesome.

LOL in this case they're pretty audible, but between the beautiful music and the joy of doodling just 'cause with the type of pen that I used a lot in design school, I just didn't notice :P The stupidest thing of all, is that I DO remember lifting my head and listening to them announce the previous station from mine. I just thought I had to finish the one I was doing really fast, and then completely zoned out.

Talk about ADD :P

YES, WE ARE AWESOME ♥♥

Hee! That's entertaining. I'm glad you got yourself home.

I've never actually done this, but if it makes you feel any better, any time I get on a train etiher A) It gets ridiculously delayed so I'm antsy to get where I'm going and notice (as is my horrible, horrible luck, seriously), or B) I'm getting off at the last stop, so no dice.

I do enjoy the leaves swirling around you on the train platform though.

Owww. So trains are really that evil with you?

I do enjoy the leaves swirling around you on the train platform though.

Well, I used to take the train from Kingston to Toronto (about 3 hours) a couple of times a year in undergrad. I think it was on time twice. The time it was on time, I transferred to another train and it was literally four hours late, then finally cancelled. Another time my first train was on time (I was ecstatic), hooligans threw a rock through the front windshield of the (previously on-time) train I transferred to. It coudln't go any farther without a windshield. I'm still waiting for the day that I get on a train and there's, I don't know, a couch on the tracks.

Yeah, that's pretty much how my life.

Hee. I do enjoy the leaves.

I wonder how a couch popped into your mind there ;p (you might have been talking about a bus, but I'm sticking with the furniture meaning xD).

And that really stinks about the train rides. Hope if you have to use them again, you have either a notebook for writing or a book to read! Otherwise... well, I'd go nuts.
