I'm not sure if this is a sentiment shared by other retail employees, but I've come to believe that exact change is one of the most beautiful things humanity still has to offer. When some sweet, smiling customer says "wait, I've got fourteen cents!" and undoes the clasp of their coin pouch or unzips the separate pocket of their purse, my heart goes ( Read more... )

Of course! I understand. Coin-carrying can't work for everyone. Stalkers, as you've mentioned, would be best off without. And mimes! A mime with pockets full of loose change would not be a good mime at all.

ah, but it would be so adorable! getting all upset about the change, but not being able to say anything and wanting to take it out, but that would make more noise, awwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Ever try breaking a 20 for a .20 cent fine? Not fun.....
But I do understand... exact change is wonderful. That's why I always have it! >.> Plus, I like the sound coins make when they clink together.
