Seira Clarissa Clotho Der Macht was the chosen one, the heir of Canaan --- her heir to the role of a Seraph, the highest rank one could hold in their organization. The Celestia did not even have to ask her. Seira had a whirl of power around her and also, a touch of destiny itself.
That was not all. Seira was a direct descendant of Jasmine the Celestia herself, by her ancestress Clotho, a daughter of Canaan the dhampir child of Jasmine and the vampire Kreios. That was proof enough that this Lady of Power was the one from the visions Jasmine had over two millennia ago.
“Lady Seraph?” Seira asked, “My aunt Danica told me you sent for me. What do you wish, Milady?”
Jasmine shook her golden head. “Come on, Seira. There’s no need to speak on formal terms. After all, your mother was just the same; she never liked formality. But I’m afraid as the Lady of Power, it is in your destiny.”
