[This is literally Flynn's first time making any sort of post with the SFC, and he has made a few fumbles, but he's good! He can do it now!]I was wondering if anyone knew of a training area here within the city of Vatheon? I have seen the one in the forest dome, but I am searching for one that is closer to the city itself ( Read more... )

You are free to use the courtyard in front of the temple I am caring for. I am sure it can be set up for you, depending on the amount of room you need.

My thanks. If you would like, I can help you set it up.

I would like the help. I'm very busy as of late. But I suppose you should scout out the area first.

May I have the directions for your temple, Priestess? I will be more than happy to help with anything I can.

Anything that is...I suppose "horse-like" if you are from Earth.

There are horses here? [he looks genuinely surprised.]

There is a stable for...Chocobos, I think they are called, in Nostalgia Nook, so I would not be surprised if a stable for horses appeared there.

Shit, I just asked about a shooting range - I think you and I are on the same mindset.

Anyway, there's a gym in the city. Guess that could count as a training area. Swordfightin' sounds fun.

I have not come across anything like a shooting range, but that could be because I was not actively looking for one.

Perhaps I can clear a space in the gym. If you would like to learn, I would be happy to teach you. I can most likely find a few training swords.

Yeah, neither have I. Forest could work, but I don't think the people here would like it too much.

That would be awesome. When's a good time?

No, I would assume not. It might cause quite a bit of alarm.

Morning or afternoon is perfectly fine by me. Ah, my name is Flynn Scifo, by the way.

If there's one thing I was glad about it was that you were getting a much-needed vacation over here--but now you're giving lessons? Jeez, you workaholic.

I hardly call it being a workaholic, Yuri. It is important to keep skills like swordsmanship honed, and if there are people interested in learning how to use a blade, then why not teach them?

You always were the one being pushy about training. [A sigh. There he goes again with his overly generous attitude. That's his best friend alright.] Don't get stressed out or anything.

How else were you going to learn? [This is why Yuri's here. To make sure he doesn't kill himself.] Thank you, but I think I will be fine. Though, if you want to help out occasionally, that would be a big help.

You teach sword-fighting?

Yes, I do. Are you interested?

I- [A short hesitation. Neither his physique nor his hands are any good for stuff like that and he knows it.] I guess. I've always been better at backing our fighters up rather than fighting myself, but I can't rely on having others protect me here. Is it difficult to learn?
