File this one under, 'How quickly they learn.' In a desperate attempt to get the kids ready for naps sooner than previous Sundays have allowed, we stopped for fast food on the way home after church. I asked the elder kid if he wanted the chicken sandwich or the hamburger, to which he promptly replied, "Want fries

How are the church services going?

Sorry I haven't written them up more regularly; work got busy. Church alternates about evenly between things I find intriguingly provocative and things I find unpleasantly off-putting. We had a missionary from Japan in a few weeks back that seriously hacked me off (I keep meaning to write that one up). On the other hand, there was another about confronting conflict (still in 1st Corinthians here) that was exceedingly interesting (also meant to get written up).

I volunteered to teach some Aikido classes as a give-back to the church community, but have not yet heard a response. We'll see what happens with that.
