You will always rock the hardest. harder than hard. I can't believe how long its been since I've seen you.

Life is good for me. I am working and climbing, running and working. Got certified as by the American Mtn Guide Association so I can work as a guide. Climbing hard. dog tired and living well. I may be falling in love. which is a story I have to tell you in person. soon. love.

Hi Melody,
It's great to hear what has been going on for you. You're one of the few people from New York still there.

We had plans to come over for New Years eve a la Jill and Jerry, but one of Sarah's best friends has announced a wedding on the 29th.

Hope to be round your neck of the woods before long though. I havent seen you in bloody ages.

I keep thinking I'll get to come out there soon but traveling is just too damn expensive right now with the dollar in the toilet. :P

Congrats on the bar and the running! I'm really creeped out about your new location- I haven't been back to NYC since 2002 (I can't believe it!) so I didn't even know they had rebuilt-Haven't your bosses heard of post-traumatic stress?? What are they thinking??

Anyway-I'm hoping to get home soon-and I can't wait to finally see your place!

I'm sure they are thinking TAX BREAKS. I heard they got like a year free rent or something, thought hat may be just a rumor. people seem really uncomfortable. I'm lucky though, I got an office on the west side of the building and not over the pit.

Aha! I knew there had to be some kind of incentive to be in that building-but you can't be the only one freaked out.
