So as my "first" semester at OCAD comes to an end we have been given the opportunity to submit a piece of artwork that more or less displays what kind of artwork we do outside of illustration. You know what Sarah? My teacher would totally dig your doll photography. I think it would be a real hit!
The more I learn at OCAD the more I think I'm more drawing to painting than illustration. I may change programs next year. And as you know I'm always in favour of people picking up a brush and pencil, if it's what they want to do. I understand the stress of not wanting to disappoint oneself though-- I don't paint nearly as much as I ought to for precisely those reasons ;)

I can't wait to see you again too-- whoever you are??

My first thought was that "It's my mom!!"-- but then I thought "no, the painting is my mom-- whose this?" :P
