I've been looking forward to seeing this movie all year, it was supposed to be released in theaters originally sometime around now. Just found out they have, for some reason I've not been able to yet find, scrapped that plan and released it on Fearnet (which plays a lot of shit I like but is so advertisement heavy that watching it pisses me off); I ( Read more... )

I actually like the B Movies with horror and sometimes scifi. The problem with the older ones is, although the music and plots were cool, they were way too visual for me to appreciate. the modern ones have dialogue but are mostly stupid. Can you recommend a good movie for me?

I actually want to see the first Saw, haven't yet because its not high on my list of priorities. I was told I might like the parts of the movie with the two guys chained up in the room, maybe not the rest. But still, how many fucking sequels does a movie need, especially when the killer is dead! You had a good run, let's fucking end it and come up with something else!!! Slasher movies as a general rule just suck.

And yes, they always do this with slasher movies, but its so much more irritating now because none of it is original anymore, just sequels and remakes and series blending. Soon we'll see AvPvFvJ - Alien verses Predator verses Freddy verses Jason, and the next year the sequel where they all team up to destroy Micheal Myers. :-P

I despair the lack of adult horror movies; when I was a teenager I had to wait until my parents stopped caring what I watched I was an adult; why are we suddenly bending that now? Why are we trying to make horror appeal to the masses? Its not something that is supposed to have wide appeal, and to try ( ... )
