I am back after several days of no internet connections (the bill must have come when we were in PA and got lost in the shuffle somewhere along the way).

Nothing too, too exciting going on. Work has been quiet except for another minor confrontation with Seth, much more subdued from the last one but which I walked away with the clear impression that ( Read more... )

Have you seen the Neverwhere miniseries? It was actually done *before* the book, and is quite wonderful. No Hollywood crap, it's from the BBC I think and is done in a low-budget but much more realistic style than most fantasy.

I do know of it, my sister rented it from the library after she read the book. I didn't watch it myself and I remember her not liking it, although I don't remember what her complaint was because this was a few years ago (I kind of want to say the story was different, but I may be completely wrong about that).

Hehe, welcome back. I had missed seeing your sexy sexy posts. ;-) I'm enjoying the relatively cooler weather as well, and running around naked whenever I'm at home. Umm, actually, you might not wanna come over until Autumn, when the place will once again be safe for your eyes.

I don't know. There are some people that have their defenses set up so they can never really be taken off their high horse, and I do suspect he is one of them. Someone hurts or humiliates him then he runs them into the ground every way he can, that's probably how he reinforces his image of himself. Which isn't to say hiring some black belts just for the fun of it wouldn't be a good idea.
