SPT said the same about the three around him and the Christ imagery. It's very similar to the actual Death of Superman scenes as well.
And thanks for the comment; I thought the newspaper bits were the most interesting. There is one of Linda Lake in there as well but it didn't copy over correctly.
What I want to know is when did Ollie figure out that Clark was an alien. It never, ever happened on screen. He knows Clark's super but some of his lines about how he knew more about Clark, and Clark talking to him about the FOS while nice... when did that leap get made, writers?
IDK if this is correct. But when the JL were in Isis, Oliver stated that he downloaded Chloe's hard drive and got a lot of interesting information on Clark but nothing gives a hint as to where he is.
Great review. I wondered when you were going to zap one up for us to read, and you've made some great points.
WRT the "microfiber"--the dialogue suggested to me that there would be a repeat break in somewhere down the line. Tess was referring to the type of duster that she was using. "Next time (you break in), try (a) microfiber (duster)".
To me, it seemed like a hint that pointed to the idea that EDLo may try this break in tactic again, perhaps at the point the crystal is taken, so Tess will think it's EDLois and especially if there's surveillance tape showing her having broken in again. We know Nois has the flash drive, and Tess will know that, but it's the crystal that turns up missing either in or after episode 4. So, I'm expecting a second break in at the mansion.
OH! Okay, I totally didn't get the duster reference.
Thanks; I've been busy trying to fix so much stuff here that I keep getting behind.
I think it seemed to hint to me too that Tess knows that EDlo kept going after Lex (the references to hanging herself as death anvils there) and Tess' lack of patience in the matter. Even if she doesn't take the crystal, she's on Tess' automatic suspect list.

Cool. I just like reading what everyone else thinks so I can see which points we're all hitting on.

Yep. I got the feeling from those scenes that EDLo and Tess would be meeting under similar circumstances again, and that Tess wasn't going to continue to extend to Nois the same amount of latitude to keep pursuing her as she did with Lex--there's a point where Tess puts an end to it one way or the other. The cheap French maid outfit just continued the cheesy disguise as a "clean up" woman, first in Veritas at LuthorCorp with the Jois power team up *rolls eyes*...now as a cheap maid.
At the very least, the microfiber line suggested to me another Nois break in somewhere in our future.-

I assumed that was where he found out.
