I somehow missed this post!

That poem made me feel anxious and weepy, you know, in the good way. I am so glad that you addressed this, I basically refused to read any of the news about Virginia Tech in fear of the commentary on East Asian immigrants and their "emotional problems" and inability to integrate. And then it also made me think about how there is so much to my dad that is verbally (orally?) inaccessible but still all there if I pay enough attention.

It is beautiful, thank you so much for sharing it.
