Dracula came to me in my dreams last night.

I had a very tiny bedroom in a mansion. It was just big enough for a loft bed (twin size) & some floor space. Pancake & Hubcap were with me & since the room was so tiny, I let them roam freely ( Read more... )

According to prevailing dream interpretation wisdom, vampire dreams and animal dreams are very powerful, particularly when an animal bites you in the dream. The fact that you were able to catch the bat and then let it bight you means that you are taking in some of the power of that animal. Since you then made the animal into a vampire bat that could regrow its torn wings, the power that you are taking is that of transformation and rejuvenation. This all makes since given all the changes in your life right now. I think what this dream is telling you is that you are capable of handling change and healing yourself after dealing with stress, even though it makes you feel frenzied. Your concern about the safety of the rats is symbolic of you protecting certain parts of you that the rats represent. Usually rats represent bad things in dreams, but I think that because these are your pet critters, they represent some part of you that you think is vulnerable and that you love in a protective way and want to maintain - a good thing ( ... )

and since = sense? just giving you a hard time!

thanks for the interpretation! it's nice to think of it as something positive, even though I woke up kinda freaked. one thing i remember from it is how calm i was during the whole ordeal. i think i even noted to myself how calm i was & right was i was about to get scared, i'd talk myself down again.

That was quite the dream. I also see a lot of personal power in it. You're able to conquer a vampire, and as said, protect your vulnerable self-parts too.

I reckon we all have parts we're ambivalent about. It's easy to shy from our power, as power implies action and the capacity for mistake. I think many shy people are somewhat afraid of their power, which they really believe in.

And you're willing to enjoy life too--why turn down rasberries and flatbread?

A very sophistocated self expression, I would say.

Do you ever do the I Ching?
