If they want me to take those drugs again, I will not.

Saying that you won't take the drugs might get you in trouble, but I agree with you on the last part. I want to go home, too, even if it means becoming someone I'm not.

I don't plan to change, not really. But if it settles them and lets them let me out, then let them think that I'm this boy they want me to be. I'll do it. I just need to go home.

I know how you feel. If I have to be the boy they think I am, then I'll play the part. It seems a little wrong, though, since they seem like such nice people, but I just want to go home, even if "home" is with a family of strangers.

You can always leave, once you're back where you're meant to be. Go back to your bosses and doing what you were doing before.

There is part of me that wants to know why. But I'll settle for just getting out. It's more important to be with my people than to find out why they're doing this to us.
