It's been a strange few weeks....

A mixed bag of a fortnight really.

I finally heard back from the editor I've been working with. They liked my stuff but couldn't take it on owing to economic reasons. I understood - this country is in a right state at the moment and people aren't buying much. I still feel very sad though.

It's my brother's birthday soon so I really need to go ( Read more... )

I think your story is so wonderful. Maybe you should try a small press that needs good writing. I just found this local publishing company, but I think they are trying to establish themselves world wide. I don't know anything else about it, but I thought I'd send you the website.

Im so sorry, chinese_lily, I've been so sick with Nerves that I havnt even looked at all of your story so far. I've read the first paage, and Im loving it. Theres some missed words here and there, but I simply cannot concentrate enough on it to make suggestions and pick it all apart. I love Natalie, and I want to know where you are going with it!
I hope to be feeling better by this weekend.

*Hugs Jasmine* By Tuesday, Im hoping to be okay. I'm sadly, giving them until Monday. I tried reaching them on Friday, but god was with me, and they could not be reached. Im still praying though, becasue the need for this job is mounting exponentially.
