If you're really concerned about them going to a great home, and are willing to surrender them to a rescue instead of trying your luck with Craigslist, I can try to help you get them from P-burgh to ForCHINate Chins in Cleveland.

I've been through her screening process, which is very thorough, and she insists that chinchillas she rehomes are never bred. She's also close to one of the best chinchilla vets in Ohio in the event that something should happen to go wrong. Please let me know if you consider this option.

I might be able to arrange transportation, but you'd have to do the paperwork from Carise's site first. If that sounds like an option, let me know.
