I used to be in the IT industry, with emersion in all that it intails, meaning nearly unlimited access to sources of info if I needed it for help on IT problems that I was having trouble with, work related or otherwise

I started to transition from working fish department to being a kennel tech about six months before I moved back to NJ, and it was very rewarding, very satisfying work at the end of the day. I hope you feel the same way at the end of the day!
I had No Idea you are back doing time in Jersey!, but then You were the only one out of that group that I felt any connection with... feel kinda bad I didn't try harder. I hope it was a good move for you. Where in Jersey are you? It has been quite a while since I lived there, I wonder how much it has changed?
Aw, thanks. Then again, I kind of fell away from everything and everyone for a little while.
It was a good move its self, but the transition is going rather unsmoothly. I moved back in with my family until I can drum up some employment. Everything that's hiring in my field wants 3-5 years experience, and I have precisely 0 experience.
I'm living in the central area, in Matawan-Aberdeen. There are two good ways to sum up where that is. On a map, go directly South from the southern end of Manhattan Island and across the bay. Or, go West of Kevin Smith's Tri-Town Area. It's not a bad area. Still just as commuter-ville as ever. And I still go to a lot of the old haunts in Newark and Asbury.
In the list of things that has changed- 1.) The Palace Amusements of Asbury Park was finally torn down. However, a bar down the road from where it once was painted its self to look like the Palace, complete with looming Tillie face.

2.) There are more McMansions popping up.
Other than that, not much else has changed in NJ.
