you wouldn't choose to name it sufist, because that has certain connotations which just don't fit... but the equivalent of sufism in Judaism is quite common...

In theory, you can adapt Judaism like Sufis adapt Islam, but in terms of using that term for doing that, it is a misnomer.

Yes. Probably there are halachic issues and I wouldn't but there is such a movement http://jerusalempeacemakers.org run by Eliyahu MacLean and Jews and Muslims pray together.
