Anti-childfree charities

I'm sure you've encountered them before. March of Dimes, WIC (Women Infants and Children), "Save the Children", "Make a Wish" foundation. WIC in particular I've even seen them put up huge booths in public buildings like libraries, explaining how they'll help you out if you want to make a child. Does anyone know any dirt on these organizations? I don't want to underscore the effect they have on our population and on those who bear children, but how do you think this affects the childfree? Does anyone know what percentage of taxes and such are put towards the policy of having more babies? It always bothered me that I could be subsidizing someone else's child, when I don't even want anyone to have a child. I understand children are a horrible pain and extremely difficult to care for. Is that a good enough justification for the existence of pro-kid charities? Are those charities actually good in that they undo some of the damage that all the bad parents cause? What about government money? Is helping children the best way to solve the problems that children face, or can you provide a more complex explanation for what's going on?
