Is it really that surprising that I did?

Well, I've only heard other Jews ever talk about it. Usually it's all about Christmas.

Well from where I'm from, everybody talks about it being Happy Holidays in order not to offend anyone.

Christmas, though I've tried to get my family interested in Kwanzaa.

I havn't been successful yet.

I tried to tell them that its a way to express their heritage but most just see it as a way to pull Black people away from Christmas and Chrisitanity as a whole.

Every year I mean to find out what Kwanzaa and every year I forget to.

That tends to be the case with many people.

I remember there was a Kwanza-bot on Futurama. That's about it though.

Well... I've learned what Christmas is, but what are "Hanukkah" and "Kwanzaa"?

If there have been any practices like that, I don't remember them. But it sounds like a nice idea!

(OOC: Okay, Rin gave him... a book for his birthday. Some kind of novel she thought he might like.)

Hanukkah is a holiday practiced by those of the Jewish faith and Kwanzaa is a more recently created holiday that is usually practiced by African Americans.

[ooc:Okay.]

No problem, I was certain you didn't hear of those mostly due to the different times we both hail from.
