Me = worst hostess ever

Dec 23, 2007 21:15

While it's good to have someone else in the room, the first few hours of living with someone I don't know all that well is still really awkward. And telling me that 'Anything is fine, I'll just follow you where you go. You don't have to make plans for me.' is very nice and generous, but not a good idea since I'm perfectly capable of staying in the ( Read more... )

*sniffs* Gackt is so wise. I'm glad he's doing his part to help society..teehee and he's so humble about it. Anyways..I don't quite understand the 'Dear Card' thing..what is it?

Thanks for the translation =P

As far as I can see, it's a special Orico Credit Card (like UPty ones), it costs 1500 yen a year, and 1000 yen from these 1500 go to this charity campaign. There are 2 kinds of cards - one for Dears, and another one for not-members of Dears, they differ a little, but the idea is the same.

thanks, chikotori, for translation ^^

I didn't know exactly what the card was about, so thank you for the explanation!

wow~~~ I love him more now! ;3; Doing the charity in private is a very good deed~~~~

"There is definitely a meaning behind every meeting." - I so believe in this. Doing something for someone you meet, even just for a while, makes an impact. And we are all born with karmic obligations and this project might be one of his. Ohhh I think I'm not making any sense here ^^;>

Anyways, thanks a lot for translating... as always~

You're welcome :)

Yes, it's very heartwarming to know that Gackt does charity in private. Actually I was quite surprised that he did this 'Save the Dears' campaign, since it's so public. Now I know why :).

Merry Christmas to you too~

I agree with you, Gackt is someone I really look up to. He's a much better role model than many other celebrities.

Merry Christmas to you too!

I would like to know too, but who knows whether they'll let us know.
It just makes me happy to know his thoughts on this matter.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I had heard him say something once before about not liking any charity work he does to be a public thing, which I thought was admirable. I really love what he says at the end, it meant something to me... thank you.

You've brought me a lot of happiness this past year with your translations and I wanted to wish you all the very best in the new year.
