[action] if this is okay?screwthegodsFebruary 6 2011, 08:43:26 UTC
[Homura has been spending his time as he normally does: observing people, both in person and over the journals. There are certain faces that interest him more than others at this point, people that play pivitol roles in Luceti's "political" structure, for lack of a better term. He's taken his time thus far, but chance provides an opportunity, perhaps, as Homura catches a glimpse of someone just before he all but vanishes into the snow. There is little way to know for certain; all Homura has seen, after all, are pictures on a single journal entry. But given the nature, he opts to follow. Excusing himself will be simple enough if he's mistaken. He makes little effort to hide his presence as he follows, merely watching for the present.]

That's right. [Confirmation only, for now. Homura wants to see just what Albert will do with the information without further prompting.]
You're either presumptuous or blind to call it "humanity." Luceti contains others besides humans, and rebellion is hardly confined to that one race. You should remain aware of that, considering there have been rumblings of human hatred, lately.
But then, it truly might not be your concern. Does prevention warrant your action, or do you prefer to wait until the crisis begins? Exactly at what point do you acknowledge the responsibility you've taken on?
[Albert has seen his share of gods in Luceti. Why not a war god?] Shall I use a more general term, since you are deciding to mince my choice of words? People, sentient beings, creatures of all creeds that barter and take heed of one another. There are enough races in my world for me to know it is not a trait specific to the race many worlds call "humans."
[And to his other questions...] What responsibilities I have taken on are easily replicated. You should be aware of that, if you have taken stock of the situation.
It would be more accurate to do so. [Homura shrugs, letting the point go at that. There had been a warning in the words, but that would be for Albert to see, and if he chose, to act on.]
Of course. But anyone who might choose to do so either has the difficulty of overcoming what has been established, or the necessity to establish communication at the very least.
I'm curious, however. Just what are your goals? You don't seem to be seeking power, nor do you strike me as the type who might lead an offensive. Are you content with your existence here?
My goals? [If there is anything of what Homura has said that may amuse Albert, that is probably it.] I am simply waiting for opportunities while giving people information to build upon. Taking an offensive stance has not worked at any step in the past.
Re: [action]screwthegodsFebruary 7 2011, 10:47:17 UTC
[Homura, on the other hand, is less amused by what he sees as an evasive answer to a critical question.] Opportunities for what? You've given me methods, not desires. What purpose are you acting toward?
"Desires." Returning to my world without a repeated appearance here. [It is a goal with no foreseeable prospects currently. But Albert has already mentally readied himself for that long haul.] An understanding of this world and what makes it affect us, the Organization, and the Third Party the way it does.
[He'll let that settle in for a moment before speaking again.] These are not unique goals by any means. Why are you asking these questions?
Re: [action]screwthegodsFebruary 8 2011, 08:09:28 UTC
Because I need to be certain of your intentions, and of you, before I decide on my course of action. I'm not someone who automatically trusts, and certainly not one who follows without question.
[Spoken matter-of-factly, yet it is a philosophy Homura will not change. Ignorance in that regard has already cost him too much.]
At the very least, it seems we share a goal. Given that for many, returning to their worlds may well mean the cessation of their existences or the loss of important relationships, it can't be assumed that all do.
