Some, not much. Initial observations are largely the same as what you yourself just listed above. There is a buzz in the population, urging it towards actions because of these observations.

On a slightly more off-beat note... the air feels a little different.

We are unfortunately restricted to what we can currently see within the village. Once we have scouting reports, we can figure out what we wish to do.

This would have been a good time for a complete list of residents' abilities.

The change in the air may be similar to whatever happened during the personality-changing experiment several weeks back; I believe there were remarks of the air feeling different back then, too. ...That, in fact, troubles me.
