Awww, you did it! ♥ I love it. I love that you didn't try to predict what we will get: Sam who remembers robo!Sam or Sam who has no memories at all. You simply grounded the story in Dean's doubts and fears and relief and that worked really well for me. I love especially that little moment where Dean is just so happy to hear Sam say his name and the way he hesitates to touch his brother at first. Man, I really hope we'll get some genuine brotherly bonding in 6.12.

Thank you so much for writing this. ♥ It's a great present that makes me anticipate the return of the show even more!

Yay, I'm happy you loved it! I rarely write codas so I was a little worried about how it would come out. I hope we'll have some brotherly bonding too! Thank you for your comment! &hearts

This is exactly what happened next! You've got Dean's mix of emotions exactly right!

"It’s like throwing something from the roof of a tall building . . ."
Sweet metaphor!
And Dean's anxiety is palpable.

This is a wonderful coda to the episode.

t’s like throwing something from the roof of a tall building, watching it fall, not knowing where it’s going to land, not knowing if it’s going to hurt someone down there, and there isn’t a goddamn thing you can do about it.

Wow, yeah, exactly.

Yikes. I picture the near future as a constant need for diversionary tactics as Sam tries to pick at that wall. I hope that it turns out not to be this hard, because... this is kind of scary.

I have absolutely no idea of how they're going to do that, but I too hope that it won't be that hard! Thank you for reading and commenting!
