Loved it! And hey, why NOT rabies shots? Theoretically most mammals can get rabies, even "things", so better safe than sorry. Nice glimpse at the boys' characters and yeah, getting thanked can be as much of a problem as not getting thanked, huh?

Why not indeed? I doubt they do it every time they got scratched by a "thing" though... They don't take care of themselves well enough!

How about a sequel where Dean won't go back for the rest of the series, but Sam insists they swipe the vaccine and give them to each other (which is worse for Dean, giving himself a shot, or giving one to Sam? ;))

Maybe because it's kind if how I feel about it myself! When I was little, I was scared but it was because I had a bad experience... I was six, they tried to take a blood sample from me but they messed up because my veins were too thin. After that, I thought that needles were supposed too hurt horribly! I know better now, but it's still definitely squicky.

Sam's an asshole and Dean's whining! Hee! This was great. Love little scenes like this where they're snarking at each other. And yes. Why not rabies? Though supernatural rabies? That would be interesting!
