[Asch has been doing much the same as they have, though less effectively since he can't exactly remake the fallen buildings, only remove any excess debris and keep it from damaging the houses even more. Still, the attempt is there, at least?

He's on his daily round through the village when he hears Miyabi's cries, the darkened sun like a bad omen, and picks up the pace to find the source of the voice. Just what was happening now!?]

[Miyabi is stroking Ammy's fur, sobbing and praying with all of her might to the thirteen gods of their world, whereas Ammy herself just tries to focus on the remaining sun there is to give her strength. If she could just- get out of the street, find some place to rest where the sun might reveal itself again, a place where it's easier to concentrate-

Footsteps? Ammy tries to lift her head to see who it is, but it soon falls back to the ground.]

[Miyabi is indeed snuggling into Ammy's soft, white fur and crying softly, whispering prayers to her and just being there. It's not until Asch is relatively close that she hears him at last, looking up when Ammy lifts her head.

When she sees Asch, the little poncle wipes her eyes and bounds over to him, but not too far from the fallen wolf.]

Asch! Asch, please, help!! M-Mother Amaterasu--she...she's...! [Her words get cut off by a worried squeak and tiny sobs. This is just the worst thing that could have ever happened, and Miya was scared.]

[Ah, it's Asch... Ammy opens her eyes and glances back at him, and her tail barely wags with both relief and greeting. It's always nice to see him, even when she's too weak to do much. Miyabi can explain - Amaterasu can't exactly lift her head up to point at the covered sun or anything at the moment.]

[Even with the hand on her neck, she raises her head enough to shake it in denial before she allows it to fall back. No... Miyabi may think she is, but she's not going to. There's still a sliver of sun peeking out from behind... whatever is blocking it. As long as that stays strong for her, then she'll still live.]

[Miyabi looks away from Asch's sharp gaze, wringing her hands together nervously. Don't look at her like that, man, she's already scared enough.]

I...I'm not sure. I-I can only assume. The Day of Darkness only happens once every hundred years back home and-- [Miyabi catches the wolf's nod, and though she can't read her mind, or understand her like other animals, she's been able to catch up on most of Ammy's physical gestures and what they mean. Looking deeply into the wolf's eyes, Miyabi understands.]

She won't die.

Between Ammy's nod and Miyabi's confirmation, Asch glances briefly at the sun, then focuses back on the wolf, hands flaring with white energy to see if healing magic has any effect.]

Will it hurt her more to bring her inside?

[Whether it's from the healing power or sheer determination, Ammy tenses and braces herself, then plants her paws on the ground and does her best to raise herself up. Her legs are shaking, and her breathing become ragged again, but soon, she's up. Albeit very unsteadily.

It seems she wants to go inside. Preferably by a window.]

[Before she can answer, Ammy's already up on her feet. Miyabi blinks and hops up and down before her, setting her with an upset look, though she's more concerned than actually upset.]

Ammy! You shouldn't move!! You can barely stand at all; save your strength. [She fumes, then looks back at Asch and finally answers his question.] I think we can take her in, if she's stubborn enough to move on her own.

[Asch regards Ammy for a moment, expression oddly blank as he watches her struggle. She looks like she's about to fall over.

Then his expression twists to one of irritation as he crouches down, gripping her legs, gets his head under her belly, then lifts, hefting her up on his shoulders. She may be big, but he's strong, and he seriously doubts she's going anywhere on her own.]

We need a place to take her.

As soon as Asch crouches down to get the wolf on his shoulders, Miyabi's right there, bounding up and catching a bit of Ammy's tail and crawling up to reposition herself on the wolf's hind leg.]

Hm, with everything destroyed by the earthquake... Ah, could you carry her to the sakura? They were fortunate enough not to get caught in the destruction. If it's not too much trouble, Asch. Uhm...th-thank you, by the way.

[How would you be able to punt her, Miya, you'd probably just bounce against her with no result. And if Asch hadn't picked her up, she would've tried to walk to some person's house. To gather strength, to make sure someone wouldn't stumble across a dead wolf in the road if worse came to worse... But before she could take a step, her legs were grabbed, and she suddenly found herself lifted up behind Asch's shoulders.

Ammy makes a displeased sound - she could totally have handled this. Totally. However, she then realizes how stupid that sounds, considering her state, and relaxes. But not before she cranes her neck to give Asch's cheek a light lick. Thank you.]

[The lick on the cheek is enough of a message; he's not going to get his face bitten or anything. The sakura, huh? ...What, those trees? That'll take some effort, but he's not about to just dump her down and leave, so with a nod, he turns north and starts walking. It'll be a little uncomfortable for a while, Ammy, but bear with him, he's trying.]
