[Miyabi only glances at the journal when she begins to see words appearing. It takes her a moment, but she replies back, blinking and frowning at the words.]

Mother Amaterasu is a wolf first and foremost. And...can you not see her divine instrument and the red marking she bears?

I guess some of her fur is sort of reddish-looking. [He's not really a strong believer in any great deity (it's hard to really believe in something you're the replicated incarnate of) so he doesn't get to see much more than that.] That doesn't merit worship.

Her fur is only reddish like that because you don't believe in her enough! Mother Amaterasu is the Sun Goddess back in my homeland; she's the mother of all things good in the world and true wielder of the Celestial Brush!!

Ah, I'm quite safe. I was out when the blizzard started, but I quickly found refuge with a friend before it could get any worse.

Ah, I'd really appreciate it, Brook, but you don't have to. I'd hate to be a burden...Plus, it's so much snow to go through.

[Though that was perhaps the longest, loudest sigh of relief she ever uttered, Miyabi will lower her voice so as not to disturb anyone in the house that was still sleeping. It was pretty early, and she wasn't exactly expecting anyone to respond that quickly.]

Oh, Salt! I-I'm so glad you're okay...I was so very worried about you. I thought something awful had happened and--[She sighs, trying to calm down, and offers him a smile through the lends of her journal. She;s just happy your okay.]--I'm so relieved...

[She wouldn't be able to handle it if anything had happened to you, too. One person...gone is enough for her. She wouldn't be able to handle two.]

She's actually so glad you're okay, that she completely forgets to lecture you about being out in the snowstorm, Salt.]

It's fine, Salt. Just stay there for now. The house is most likely buried by snow, but my friends and I will be able to dig it out in no time! I'm just glad you're okay. You didn't catch a cold, did you?
