Would anyone be interested in an ice cream social? Everyone would bring ice cream or toppings, we could gather at one of the beaches or parks, and make sundaes! I love ice cream socials, but I haven't been to one since grammar school. This would be held in the city of Chicago ( Read more... )

Well, you could always organize one on a day you have off! Unfortunately I can never do Sundays, as I'm stuck in the office. @_@

My workweek is Sunday - Thursday due to some of the work required for my clients. It's all a workflow issue. @_@

I'd love to go though, but right now I'm not sure which date works best since I've taken up some summer work starting probably in June. I'll post once I have more info.

I would love to go but unfortunately I work all Sat. in July except for the 3rd. If we did it then I would be able to go but I understand if that is not possible. Also I have a July birthday!

This sounds awesome! I put in a vote for NOT the 31st, since I will be in NYC for a family event on July 31st. The 10th or the 17th both should work for me though! I dunno if we'd be busy on the third, but we never have been before (also, I know a FANTASTIC place to view fireworks! There's none really close, but you can see the shows from practically every suburb off in the distance) My birthday is in June.
