What do you do when you're bored, but you have no energy to do anything? Meh....

That is a hard hitting question! Hmm. I sit around watching tv or playing around on the internet. I've found wikipedia is an endless source of entertainment for situations like this...today I looked at the history of the Melbourne CBD. It was FASCINATING (alas, I'm not joking.)...but then I think maybe I'm a little bit weird.

See by the time I asked that question I had already checked my email and new LJ entries and didn't have the energy to think of anything else to look up lol

But, I did end up going to buy icecream and then made cupcakes and watched the last half of Pirates of the Caribbean on TV.....so I wasn't so unproductive after all.

Don't worry, you're not the only one who goes from wikipedia article to wikipedia article and ends up reading random things.

I went from an article on The Wicker Man (the song they sing at the end of the movie is supposed to be a middle ages-ish song and I wanted to check if I was right about that) to Mayday (the distress signal) because the article on The Wicker Man mentioned May Poles and May Day and I forgot to put a space there and...

...for some reason that ended up with me reading about the building of the city loop and the grid streets of Melbourne. I have no idea how I got there though which is so often the case with wikipedia. I only wish I could wikipedia while at work. I used to do it all the time at Origin and I miss it. Damn.

Yay! Ice cream! And cupcakes! And pirates! :DDD

It's so easy to get lost on there. My searches are mainly random people through history. It could just keep going forever! Coz I look up people I'm interested in and then I'm like 'oh they had a daughter/son?!' click!

Yup! Ice cream was great! Cupcakes turned out great (not like my last batch...failure) and pirates of course was great. I still haven't seen the 2nd or 3rd pirate movies though.
