I got a letter yesterday about the CS job. Unfortunately I was unsuccessful. I guess at least I still have my job at SC and that should be a reason to stay positive but it's kind of hard to think that way when your boss is in another one of her bad moods. That sucks, sorry to hear that. Is there any other jobs available that you would be able to apply for, maybe over the summer break? I agree, it is kind of two faced of her to bring flowers and then be a bitch. She doesn't sound very nice :(

Thanks. I'll keep an eye out for other jobs...I guess at least I've got my SC one still. I mean most people there are nice, but I don't really come into much contact with them....mainly M (bitchy boss) and the other two library staff.

Yeah I thought it was pretty two faced too....it's funny because nearly everyone at work thinks she's such a nice lady but only a few can see through her fake-ness.

Also: sorry I've been kind of not really there for you at all or wished you luck while you were applying. I'm kind of a bitch. No, really. I've just been so stressed about the whole thing...and now I'm wondering why I bothered. Aw don't feel like that. I realize that you were obviously pretty occupied about your contract ending and hoping to get the new job. I'm really sorry for you :(

I"ll try not to go on too much, but have you thought about trying for other positions? Like a school library (I'm sure most school libraries are actually good lol) I think most have library officers. Ours does anyway. If you want I can keep an eye out on my email network for jobs?

Flowers are definitely nice. And these smell so lovely. It's just I'd rather her simply relax and be nice.......

Sorry to hear that you were unsuccesful with the CS job. It's hard to be motivated to work when your boss is being bitchy, she should try to make an effort to be in a good mood becasue that will motivate everyone around her and make them be in a good mood.

Thanks. Yeah it does make it hard. Plus the fact that she doesn't really make the job very interesting. Like at the moment (end of year and all) I'm really struggling to find things to do. Funny thing happened, because she ALWAYS comes up to me and says in this patronizing tone 'So what are you doing now Claire?' and I usually either make something up or tell her...anyway today when she asked me I actually said to her "I have no idea" lol That kind of shocked her I think and she left me alone. Weird.....
