Those Mushu things? Man, they were totally not cool. It's nice to actually be able to hear things again, even if it is that annoying jingle. Ugh. And I thought smelling steak was torture.
Jingle? [...Whoops, the voice function was left on when she said that, wasn't it? She doesn't want to sound ignorant, like with all of the many new concepts she's been encountering, so she quickly adds:] You really don't like steak, huh? [It seems she has misinterpreted what was meant by "torture."]
[ Chie does not see it as a mistake and makes a noise of confirmation before explaining: ] Mmhm! Yeah, it's like those really annoying adverts on television where the song gets stu- [ Wait, what did she say? There is stunned silence after that woeful misinterpretation.
Torture for Chie can be a lot of things: having her precious DVDs destroyed, having Minato throw up on her again, living without Bruce Lee films and not having delicious, illustrious steak to eat. ]

[Fenimore begins to say] What's a tell-a-vis--? [during that pause before the outburst. Something about singing adverts? What? But she'll move on to the other line of conversation.]
I thought you said--ohh. Having to wait to eat was the hard part. [This is said in a tone of complete understanding.]
[ For the best. Chie would tell her televisions, while awesome for showing kung-fu movies, are deadly weapons. She seems to agree with that tone of understanding. ]
Mm! Yeah, exactly! That was the worst part about the food court at Junes... the waiting! Especially when that jerk Yosuke didn't shill out what he rightfully owed me. [ Best not to mention that shill is probably the wrong word to use, but oh well. ]
