Living the Life

I feel as if I've had a cold forever, but in fact it's been less than a week. Still, I sound like Tom Waits with laryngitis and feel like Marlon Brando towards the end of On the Waterfront: down for the count -- but don't count him out.

I enjoyed "Insomnia" as well. I only really like Robin Williams when he's not SHREIKING at the camera. Did you see "One Hour Photo?" He's chilling. Pacino is great in it. I can feel his pain of no moonlight. Perpetual day, it would kill me.

Good call on the Home Depot. I'm a former employee and that company is crapping all over their bread and butter. Customer Service is virtually nonexistent. Perhaps, your local franchise is different.

That's very funny. I happened to see Misery again a few weeks ago. It's held up well, I think (as opposed to the majority of the movies made from King's books).

I liked One Hour Photo when I saw it, but never found myself particularly wanting to see it again. Williams underplayed it excellently (for me, too, a little of his normal shtick goes a long way), but the film itself struck me as too mannered. I'll have to revisit it sometime and see.

Ah, Home Depot. No, I'm afraid the local one is simply horrendous. Visiting there is like a trip to the Gulag: easy to get in, impossible to get out.
