Is it postponed indefinitely? Because if you have a later date (or he has one in mind)...you might be able to hold on to those things.

I dunno, it seems like as long as you don't have another shower later then you should be able to keep the gifts. The people who attended your shower are family and friends-they love you and understand that you didn't do anything wrong, and should know enough about you to realize you really needed all those homey things. I'm so sorry about what happened. Don't let go of your faith that things will work out for the best in the end. ♥
